The Paper Exchange was established in 1996 and is now a leading provider of document shredding, hard drive destruction, media destruction and record storage to all types of organizations in Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Eastern Ohio. 

The Paper Exchange is more poised than ever to continue providing outstanding service programs to our customers. Since our inception, we have continued to invest in quality people and equipment in our efforts to maximize our efficiency. In 2004, we increased our capacity by installing a new state-of-the-art shredding facility and added new vehicles to our fleet of trucks. In 2010, we installed a new state of the art shredding machine from Cresswood called the Mega Destroyer. We also opened a state of the art record storage facility in Lawrenceville. In 2005, 2006, 2009, and 2010 The Paper Exchange was selected as one of Pittsburgh's fastest growing companies by The Pittsburgh Business Times.

The Paper Exchange does extensive background checks and drug testing on all of the personnel handling your information. In addition, our personnel arrive with ID badges to verify that they work for The Paper Exchange. The Paper Exchange is a member of the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) and is AAA certified. As part of the only organization dedicated to increasing the security and ethics of the information destruction industry, NAID Members hold themselves to a higher standard.
