We track the history of each item from inception through destruction.

Through the use of the barcode technology, we can locate a box within seconds and at The Paper Exchange we utilize mobile scanners to validate each and every barcoded item before ever leaving our facility. Taking this step ensures that you are receiving your entire order as well as ensuring that we have properly dispatched the correct inventory. When we arrive at your facility, we again scan the items we are delivering, offering a chain-of- custody transfer.

Scanning also takes place when we pick up barcoded items from your facility. We not only scan the item before we leave, but we also scan the items upon arrival at our facility, ensuring a step-by-step account of the items location. Our couriers will always leave behind a listing of item (s) that were delivered/picked up at your location. Upon arrival at The Paper Exchange, the mobile scanners are downloaded to our system, which is backed up daily.
